Happy release day (times 5)!

Happy Publication Day to me!

With one click (times five), my sassy and humorous romantic comedies with an edge can now be downloaded to your e-reader. If you prefer print copies, don’t despair as all the books are also available in paperback AND hard cover!

Even if you read the previous versions of these books, I encourage you to download the new ones, particularly Just Friends With Benefits as it has been re-written in its entirety. This was my first novel and I think the new version benefits from my writing experience and improved skills (and a fantastic editor…) A State of Jane has also been modified significantly. The other three books are relatively similar to the earlier renditions, but with fun bonus scenes. (hint: more evil Daneen J )

Here’s some of what advanced readers have had to say about Blogger Girl so far:

Blogger Girl grabbed me from page one and had me until the end.  This was my first book by Meredith Schorr, but definitely not my last!” – Rebecca, Goodreads member

“I absolutely LOVED this book!” – Tara, Goodreads member

“Meredith Schorr had me laughing, loathing, and lusting at every turn along with her “a lot of spit-fire in a small package” Kimberly.” – Erin, The Autumn Review

“I absolutely loved this feel-good book. A fantastic chick lit with plenty of office humor and romance” – Monica, Goodreads member

“I say go read it NOW and enjoy it. Meredith Schorr is one talented girl” – Reading Renee

“I LOVED this book! It had all the best parts of chick lit. Kim and her friends were such great characters, you felt that you could identify with them.” – Amy Goodreads member

“I highly recommend this book for anyone who has the zest for the genre and anyone who doesn’t want to feel left out when every blogger is raving about the soon-to-be-released movie adaptation (hopefully).” – Kobbie, Chicklit Pad

Ok, enough of the shameless self-promotion. I’m just awfully proud of this book. I had such a blast writing it and hope that you will enjoy reading it even half as much 🙂

What happens when your high school nemesis becomes the shining star in a universe you pretty much saved? Book blogger Kimberly Long is about to find out.

A chick lit enthusiast since the first time she read Bridget Jones’s Diary, Kim, with her blog, “Pastel is the New Black,” has worked tirelessly by night to keep the genre alive, and help squash the claim that “chick lit is dead” once and for all. Not bad for a woman who by day ekes out a meager living as a pretty, and pretty-much-nameless, legal secretary in a Manhattan law firm.

While Kim’s day job holds no passion for her, the handsome (and shaving challenged) associate down the hall is another story. Yet another story is that Hannah Marshak, one of her most hated high school classmates, has now popped onto the chick lit scene with a hot new book that’s turning heads–and pages–across the land. It’s also popped into Kim’s inbox–for review. With their ten-year high school reunion drawing near, Kim’s coming close to combustion over the hype about Hannah’s book. And as everyone around her seems to be moving on and up, she begins to question whether being a “blogger girl” makes the grade in her off-line life.
